"Two huge factors that I can attribute my smoke free status to: Learning some tips on behavior modification to prepare myself for cravings, and having a "Quit Buddy". "It has been 13 days today since my last cigarette. This is my second attempt. One of my sisters and I have been talking of quitting, and ,well, kept putting it off. Then one day another one of our sisters called me with the news of her receiving the awful 3 word sentence, "You have cancer.Then after her losing 1/2 her lung, I can happily say she is on the road to recovery. The day after surgery, we went up to see her, I set a day I planned on quitting, Jan 1, 2016. I put my last cig out at 8:30pm on Dec 31, 2015... Good Luck to everyone on this journey." -Patty
